Our yard is at Churchfields Industrial Estate, Stephenson Road, Salisbury SP2 7NP — about 9 minutes from Odstock via the A354 and the A338, 650 metres from Salisbury railway station. Every unit is an insulated steel container on the ground floor with 24/7 access, and the gate opens when you ring it from your registered phone.

About Odstock

Odstock is a village in the valley of the River Ebble, south of Salisbury; the parish includes the village of Nunton and the hamlet of Bodenham, which were transferred from Downton parish in 1934. Its name probably means ‘Odo’s stockade’, and the Domesday Book of 1086 listed Odestoche among the eight manors of the Chalke Valley. Oliver Cromwell is said to have stayed in a 17th-century house in the village that was once an inn called the Parsonage, and Odstock Down is a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Odstock today

The Grade II* listed church of St Mary dates from the 12th century and was partly rebuilt in 1870; Odstock Manor House, from the 17th century, is also Grade II* listed, and the Yew Tree Inn was once a pair of 18th-century cottages. Odstock Hospital, built in 1942 north of the village, housed a regional plastic surgery and burns centre from 1948 and since 1987 has grown into a large district hospital. North of Bodenham is the Longford Park estate and Longford Castle, seat of the Earls of Radnor. Moving in, clearing out or between homes — our Salisbury yard is about 9 minutes away.

Three sizes of insulated steel container: 40 sq ft takes the contents of a studio flat, 80 sq ft a two-bedroom flat, and 160 sq ft — a 20-foot container — a three- or four-bedroom house or a small business’s stock and equipment, with room for a van-load of furniture and a walkway down the middle. House, loft and garage clear-outs

Clearing a house, loft or garage in Odstock? Pick the size and the move-in date that suit you, drive up to load — you can drive right up to many of our units, and the rest are a few steps from the end of a short row — and give two weeks’ notice when you’re done. Salisbury recycling centre is 150 metres down the road for anything you don’t keep. There’s no deposit and no long-term contract, and no minimum stay — but a minimum of two weeks’ rent at full price applies.

Business storage near Odstock

For stock, tools, equipment or archive boxes, every unit is on the ground floor with 24/7 access, and the gate works from anywhere — ring it from your phone to let a delivery driver in while you’re away. The 160 sq ft (20 ft) container takes a small business’s stock and equipment, and van hire is opposite the gate.
