What is self storage?

Self storage is a service that offers both domestic and business users access to an individual secure storage space. The storage containers at Rhino Storage Salisbury are secure, clean, dry and accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Do I need my own insurance

Rhino Storage do not require you to take out insurance when storing with us, We do not insure your goods whilst in storage.  However if you have a business or household policy covering your house or business contract your insurance company and check if they will cover the items in storage.  Alternatively contact who offer storage insurance from just 60p per week for every £1000 worth of cover required.

Do I need a padlock

Rhino Storage Salisbury give all our customer free use of a padlock when you store with us.

What security measures are there?

Rhino Storage Salisbury have 24 hour CCTV monitoring, coded electronic security gates and security fencing. The facility offers a range of individual domestic and business self storage rooms including drive-up units – all with free unlimited 24 hour access.

Will my things stay dry?

At Rhino storage Salisbury, our insulated storage containers provide a condensation free storage environment – keeping your goods dry. Each unit is ventilated to allow minimal air circulation eliminating humidity and mould.

Is storage expensive?

We offer more space for your money, we also like to keep it simple, so we offer just three standard sizes. Small, Medium and Large, which covers pretty much anything you would need to store and our prices start from £13.20 including VAT per week for the first 8 weeks.

What cannot be stored in my container?

Rhino Storage Salisbury will not allow any of the following items to be stored in their containers:

  • Toxic, polluted or contaminated goods.
  • Firearms, munitions or explosives.
  • Radioactive materials.
  • Flammable, combustible or hazardous items.
  • Living plants or animals.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Illegal items.
  • Waste.

Book Your Self Storage in Salisbury

When You Book Storage With Us, We Ask For:

  • 2 forms of identification with your name and address, one of which should be photographic (e.g. your passport or driving licence).

    Please don't forget to email this bit! We know our customers are very busy when they arrange storage, but we won't be able to complete your booking and give you access to your unit without them.

  • A small, fully refundable, deposit equivalent to 2 weeks rental. Payment by credit card or debit card.

    All payments are made in advance.

  • Payment of your first full 4 weeks storage by Debit or Credit Card, we do not accept cash or cheques.

    All payments are made in advance of moving in.

  • Activated Direct Debit for future payments

    After your first hire period (normally 8 weeks), As part of our terms we require all future payments by Direct debit, this must be set up prior to you gaining access to our storage facility, you will receive an email from GoCardless who we use to collect our Direct Debits, please follow the instructions it will only take a few moments of your time. Once this is done we will then activate your phone to open the gate and you then have full access 24/7 to your storage unit.
